, 09:24 PM at work i want to ball the end of my green pure tungsten electrode for aluminum welding. i put it to DCEP, hit the pedal, and nothing happens. put it on DCEN and hit the pedal, and it will arc, but i dont get the nice balling effect. why wont it strike an arc on DCEP ? its a miller syncrowave 250 water cooled unit.
